Find the problem

Wi-Fi connected but no internet?

Your phone shows the Wi-Fi icon, but pages will not load. The icon only means one thing: your phone joined the network. Everything else - the router, the line to your provider, the name lookups - can still be broken. Three short checks find which one it is.

1. Open Radien and look at the status card

It shows your connection, your local address, and your router's address. If the Router row is missing, your phone never really finished joining: the problem is between your phone and the Wi-Fi itself. Rejoining the network is the usual cure, and everything below assumes the row is there.

2. Ping your router

Open Ping and tap the Router quick target - no typing needed. Most home routers reply.

3. Ping 8.8.8.8

This is a plain address out on the internet, so no name lookup is involved.

4. Check name lookup

Open DNS Lookup and query any site name. If lookups fail or time out while 8.8.8.8 pings fine, the broken piece is DNS - the address book, not the road. Network Details shows which DNS servers your phone is using right now.

What you now know

One of three verdicts, each with its own owner: your Wi-Fi (yours to fix), the line (your provider's, and you can quote the evidence), or DNS (often fixed by changing the server in iOS settings). Radien cannot repair the line - but now you know exactly what to say to whoever can.

Every check on this page runs free in Radien, entirely on your iPhone.
